Far Travels in Pharion

Been a while. I had work. this isn't related it's just really funny Vlexiraptor's  far traveler  is something I want to use. I also want to use her whole GOOSEFLESH thing but one act of share-alike thievery at a time. The Far Traveler class is great because even if you don't play it, skimming it gives you an idea of what kind of crazy shit you might see out there in the world- and if you do play it, you have inroads to really get the most out of it. Not so long ago, another  brilliant blog I pore over recommended doing a set of Far Traveler's "Been There" locations for your own setting. Now, I'm pretty in need of locations and this seems like a fun reason to make some up out of necessity and deal with the far-reaching consequences later, so let's go. We need like, what, twelve of these? 1. Counterfeit's Pit : Every adventurer, it is said, ends up in Counterfeit's Pit at least once.  The last relic of a time when everyone thought it made se

Some Questions

I’m generally someone who doesn’t like these “X questions about your Y creative thing” posts all that much, maybe it’s just not my thing, but I’ve never minded it for this type of worldbuilding and here it’ll be a nice way to earmark a few things I want to post about later. So, we’ll start out with Jeff Rients’ 20 questions. What is the deal with my cleric's religion? I don’t know if I’m going to have clerics per se, especially not if I just hitch this thing to ICON wholesale, but I always encourage religious characters and if someone wanted to say their cool class stuff comes from some compact with a god I’d probably allow it. As far as gods go, you have a few. There’s Aht, who rules the sky and is generally considered pretty important, the twins of high sea and deep ocean Myrman and Selbyn, Igoryhm who rules the dead, and probably others. There isn’t much innate antagonism among the gods; they are neither good nor evil, and do not necessarily have the best interests of their mort

What the hell is this?

I don't really expect anyone else to ever read this, it's mostly a repository for my ideas regarding this setting that's aggressively ripping off the final fantasy MMOs and whatever else I'm arrogant enough to feel like I can do better than the rubes. Like ICON, which I want to run this whole thing in but since I've made a blogspot account I think I'm legally obliged to make (or in this case finish) my GLOGhack. So, what the hell is this? This is going to be a repository for lore and eventually statblocks and bullshit for a setting I'm going to be using to launder my and probably my friends' Final Fantasy 14 characters into. It's me finally admitting I'm never going to fix Warcraft in concept or in fanwork so I might as well plagiarize something better, and it's also me trying to get myself to write things by myself. Let's talk a bit about it. Torment: Tides Of Numenera (2017) Something happened a long time ago in Pharion. Nobody's e
